A.D.E.P.

A.D.E.P. (Alcohol and Drug Education Program) is approved by the Missouri Department of Mental Health, Division of Alcohol and Drug Abuse, and meets for a minimum of 10 hours. This education program is required by law for individuals who are under the age of 21 and who plead guilty to the offense of possession of alcohol by a minor. Completion of this program is also required by law for reinstatement of driver's license. The purpose of A.D.E.P. is to help students evaluate their past decisions about alcohol and drug use by:

1- Giving clear, factual objective information about alcohol and other drugs of abuse.

2- Helping the student examine their motivations for substance use and the consequences that their use may be creating.

3- Recognizing the warning signs of substance abuse or dependency and learn where help is available, if needed.
