A 4 hour course which gives both the theory of how humans communicate and the opportunity to test new skills. Students are encouraged to take responsibility for their behavior. Prevention and alternative behaviors are reviewed. Treatment agencies and self help groups are discussed. Counseling for individuals or groups are available as well. Our Batterers Intervention Program is a 6 month treatment program conducted by a licensed counselor. The program consists of an assessment that costs $100. The program consists of 26 weeks of counseling, with weekly payments of $25 for a total of $700. Those with Domestic Violence charges in St. Charles County are required to complete this program.
